With every purchase of products through Poppies4Kits, a portion of the proceeds is donated to the Royal British Legion (RBL). These funds are crucial in enabling the RBL to continue their work, which includes providing financial assistance, mental health support, housing and employment services for military veterans and their families.

Poppies are priced at £1.30 each, with £0.60+VAT donated to the Royal British Legion. Corner flags, which can be customised with club crests, are available for £20 for standard sets or £30 for personalised sets, with £10+VAT from each sale going to the RBL. Poppy armbands, offered in Youth, Adult and Adult XL sizes, are prices at £3.50, or £4.50 for customised versions, with £1.00+VAT from each sale donated to the RBL.

What can these donations provide?

The Royal British Legion, have created a “shopping list” which shows the value that donations hold.

The Armed Forces community must go wherever they are needed, which can be very difficult for their children as they are often required to change schools. £75 could provide an essential school uniform, helping Armed Forces children to transition into their new schools from day one.

Some single parents in the Armed Forces struggle to afford crucial items for their families, and £15 could provide newborn baby items such as nappies, baby grows and bottles.

£25 could enable a veteran to have a handrail installed in their home, meaning they can walk around safely.

£50 could help to meet the costs of travel between hospital appointments which is a vital and basic need.

With £350, the RBL could provide household appliances like a fridge, for serving personnel and their children, who are struggling to afford these essential items.

Meanwhile, £1000 could cover the utility bill arrears of an Armed Forces family struggling with debt, ensuring they are warm, whilst the RBL advice service steps in with vital support.
